Table hockey is more than just a game for kids. For the members of the Ontario Table Hockey Association it’s a way of life. During the winter months young and old gather in rented out church halls and sometimes basements to compete against one another for table hockey supremacy. Every November for the past 7 years, Sid Kloosterman has organized the annual Peterborough Power Play 2 Challenge. This year the all day tournament featured 24 table hockey enthusiasts from across Ontario. Although bragging rights are at stake, the tournament goes beyond the plastic tables. The passion for the game has created a tight knit social community that continues to grow every year.
